Job Summary
Lead Field Service Technician role focused on testing, calibration, and maintenance of low to high voltage power distribution equipment for commercial/industrial clients. Responsible for leading field teams, performing comprehensive testing (transformers, circuit breakers, protective relays, VFDs, ATS), fault diagnosis, repairs, and data collection with a strong emphasis on safety and customer communication. Requires NETA experience (NETA III/IV preferred), 5+ years in field testing, associate degree in Electrical Power or related military training, driving responsibilities, and ability to work flexible hours including overtime/weekends. Training programs available to gain needed certifications; role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and delivering高-quality service in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited 2-year technical college in Electrical Power or related military training preferred
- 5+ years of relevant testing experience
- NETA Certification (III or IV) highly preferred or equivalent skills/experience
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, operating manuals and safety guidelines
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; 3+ years driving experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, overtime and weekends; on-call willingness
- Proficiency in testing and calibrations of various electrical equipment (transformers, switchgear, relays etc.)
- Safety knowledge and adherence to protocols (LOTO)
- Documentation and reporting skills
- Team leadership or mentoring capabilities
