Job Summary
Develop and execute all aspects of deploying complex air traffic control systems on customer premises, from initial proposal planning through final customer hand-over. Conduct site surveys at customer locations to produce detailed reports on installation considerations and identify code-related activities requiring professional engineer stamped designs. Manage design and construction subcontractors by developing statements of work, holding pre-bid meetings, and aiding in the review and award of contracts. Participate in planning installation strategies and estimate prospective installations during proposals while coordinating efforts with internal engineering and production teams. Travel internationally and domestically up to 25% in support of program and business development efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Business, or related discipline
- 6-8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in program/project management
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Visio, Project, PowerPoint)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills, attention to detail while tracking multiple interdependent functions, and ability to follow-up action items and requests
- Must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, possess a strong work ethic and constant desire to learn
- Possess strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel internationally and domestic up to 25% in support of program and business development efforts
- Must be a U.S. citizen, Permanent Resident (green card holder), or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)
- candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Construction Management experience is a plus
- Experience with U.S. Government Projects (both Operations and Engineering) programs is a plus
- Experience with Atlassian products like JIRA, SharePoint and Confluence, preferred
