Job Summary
Lead Provider role in an urgent care clinic focused on Family Nurse Practitioner care. Provide patient-centered assessments, physical examinations, and medical history reviews; order and interpret diagnostic tests; perform therapeutic procedures (injections, immunizations, wound management, suturing); educate patients on health, preventive care, and wellness; maintain accurate medical records and ensure infection-control/compliance with HIPAA/OSHA. Act as a clinic leader, mentoring new-grad providers and precepting staff; collaborate with other providers to deliver coordinated care and facilitate timely dispositions. Requires Master’s degree as an NP, NP certification, and a DEA license, with BLS certification and experience in emergency/urgent/ambulatory care; strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills; proficiency with EMR systems and clinical management software.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree and certification by Nurse Practitioner (NP) certifying body
- Must have and maintain a DEA license with no restrictions
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
- Relevant experience: Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care setting is preferred
