Job Summary
Lead Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for urgent care; serves as clinical leader, mentoring new-grad providers and allied professionals, conducting comprehensive patient assessments, ordering/interpreting diagnostics, administering injections and immunizations, managing wounds, documenting in EMR, ensuring infection control and regulatory compliance, and collaborating with the care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered urgent care.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree and certification by Nurse Practitioner (NP) certifying body
- DEA license with no restrictions
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification (not accepted: CPR/ACLS online-only)
- Relevant clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care setting preferred
- Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor providers and clinic staff
- Proactive, confident communicator; team-oriented and patient-focused
- Technically proficient with EMR and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and applicable state regulations for medical practice
- Delivery of high-quality patient care and clinic operations
- Precepting and mentorship responsibilities for new-provider staff
- Commitment to professional development and collaboration in a team-based environment
