Job Summary
Lead Fabricator leading container fabrication and welding efforts: technical authority across MIG, TIG, and flux-core welding; serve as SME for complex container fabrication and critical weld structures; lead weld sequencing, fixturing, and distortion control; approve methods and parameter controls; support design-for-manufacturability feedback and engineering with weld/process input; verify weld parameters and inspection standards; analyze rework and defects to implement countermeasures; train and qualify welders, support audits and customer/government inspections; lead cross-functional problem solving (A3) and kaizen events to improve safety, quality, and throughput; mentor Tier III welders and develop future leads; on-site at Spokane, WA (US) as a federal contractor with background check and drug testing requirements; English literacy and ability to work from verbal/written instructions are required.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ Year of Press Brake Operator Experience
- Must be able to speak, read and understand English
- Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
- Operation of small power tools, other hand tools and computerized and high-pressure equipment
- Background check and pre-employment drug test as part of federal contractor requirements
