Job Summary
Lead Extend Developer guiding a team of Extend consultants on Workday Extend projects. Responsibilities include scoping, gathering requirements, documenting, implementing, deploying, and supporting Extend applications using the Workday Extend toolset; ensure solutions align with customer needs and are fit for purpose and commercially viable; mentor and educate others within the Workday practice on Extend; build strong customer relationships, demonstrate excellent communication, and manage customer expectations in a remote-working context.
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency with XML, REST, SOAP, JSON
- Object-oriented programming language (preferably J2EE)
- Experience designing applications to solve business and technical problems
- Understanding of cloud computing, web services
- Excellent customer focus and ability to manage customer expectations
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including with senior client audiences
- Experience in leading or mentoring teams
- Workday Extend experience (Desirable: Workday HCM Certification)
- Experience with middleware/application development platforms
- Experience designing workflows to solve business problems
- People management experience (optional)
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and make decisions under pressure
- Awareness of HR technology and industry trends
