Job Summary

Supervise, train, and evaluate Track Services personnel while managing staffing schedules and deployment of pit fire, track safety, and recovery teams. Coordinate event setup and teardown for NASCAR, NHRA, and other major events, overseeing maintenance of assets, grounds, and infrastructure including SAFER barriers and grandstands. Operate heavy equipment, utility vehicles, and recovery vehicles to support facility operations and event readiness. Conduct routine inspections ensuring compliance with OSHA, LVMS, and sanctioning body standards while maintaining inventory and operational readiness of tools and supplies. Assist with departmental budgeting, emergency response, and incident management during race support activities. Work nights, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in facility operations, venue operations, public works, construction, maintenance, event operations, motorsports operations, emergency services, or a related field
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing personnel schedules and coordinating operational staffing
  • Ability to read site plans, maps, CAD drawings, and construction documents
  • Working knowledge of facility maintenance practices, equipment operation, event logistics, and safety procedures
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other business software applications
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, loud environments for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and perform physical labor throughout the workday
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on event schedules and operational needs

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience operating heavy equipment and utility vehicles
  • Experience working at a motorsport's facility, sports venue, entertainment venue, fairgrounds, or large-scale event facility
  • Experience supervising race operations personnel, track safety crews, pit fire personnel, recovery teams, or emergency response staff
  • Forklift, aerial lift, or heavy equipment certifications
  • Knowledge of incident command systems, emergency management, motorsports safety operations, and event operations
