Job Summary
Lead food service events at Wake Forest University stadiums and venues, managing buffet stations, setting tables, and serving guests while ensuring all BEO items are completed before service. Delegate tasks to team members, run food to suites, and coordinate with front and back of house to maintain flawless customer service. Handle physical duties including lifting up to 30 pounds, stocking supplies, and garbage removal. Maintain high grooming standards and adhere to food safety policies throughout the event. Available for all home football games and other athletic events, reporting to the Assistant General Manager.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of bartending experience
- Must be TIPs/TEAM certified (will accept Team certification or will provide training)
- Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles required
- Must be extremely hardworking and organized
- Must be exceedingly responsible and accountable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Renowned time management and organization skills
- Strong Customer Service skills with the desire to go above and beyond a client's needs
- The ability to work alone and as a team
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Availability to work all home football games
- Ability to lift up-to 30 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Live within 25 miles of Wake Forest University campus preferred
