Job Summary
Lead Evaluator, Early Learning will provide high quality personalized and customized service to early learning institutions (birth through kindergarten) focused on accreditation evaluation within the Cognia network, delivering services across Cognia reviews (Accreditation Engagement, Monitoring, and Candidacy) and supporting institutions through accreditation cycles. Responsibilities include conducting Cognia reviews, completing comprehensive training, delivering accreditation-related training and technical support for accreditation tools, facilitating high-quality training sessions, providing post-review guidance for improvement planning, representing Cognia in professional settings, giving presentations at meetings and conferences, participating in school/system meetings, collaborating with regional and state offices, mentoring other team members, and contributing to communications and outreach efforts. Requires a BS in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, with preference for advanced degrees, at least five years of Birth through Kindergarten teaching experience, leadership experience in early learning settings, and certification for eleot/erel; extensive travel is anticipated. Required Qualifications
- BS in Early Childhood Education or equivalent required
- Certification for eleotTM and/or erelTM required
- Five (5) years of Birth through Kindergarten teaching experience required
- Three (3) or more years in a leadership capacity in an early learning setting preferred
- Extensive travel (>40%)
