Job Summary

Lead Evaluator, Early Learning responsible for delivering accreditation-related reviews (Accreditation Engagement, Monitoring, and Candidacy Reviews) for birth through kindergarten settings within the Cognia network. The role involves executing Cognia review processes, providing technical assistance, conducting training sessions for institutions, supporting six-year accreditation cycles with tailored guidance, delivering findings interpretations, and representing Cognia in professional settings. Key activities include delivering presentations at institutional meetings and conferences, collaborating with regional/state offices, mentoring team members, and participating in ongoing professional development to stay current with Cognia protocols. Requires travel and high-level engagement with education providers; based in or with significant working experience in the Denver area preferred, with priority for assignments in the evaluator’s state of residence.

Required Qualifications

  • BS in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
  • Five (5) years Birth through Kindergarten teaching experience
  • Three (3) or more years in a leadership capacity in an early learning setting
  • Experience as an educational leader at building or central office level desired
  • Certification for eleotTM and/or erelTM required
  • Experience with Cognia tools and processes preferred
