Job Summary
Lead eSoftware Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining a scalable algorithmic trading platform and liquidity-integration solutions for Asian markets. Key duties include designing and implementing algorithmic trading strategies and smart order routing, ensuring reliability and resilience across the trading stack, integrating client onboarding and order management with upstream/downstream teams, driving incident response and root-cause analysis, promoting best practices across the SDLC, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate client trading requirements into robust trading capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related disciplines
- 5 or more years of software engineering experience
- Mastery in Java with respect to designing, coding, testing, and software delivery
- Familiarity on electronic trading system and the controls
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
- Hands-on experience in electronic trading system, site reliability engineering, or a related field
- Proficient in scripting and automation using one or more languages (e.g., Python, Bash, etc.)
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies, with a focus on CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
