Job Summary
Lead Engineering Technician performing engineering detail and field work, supervising others, and coordinating with company procedures. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, assigning, reviewing work of supervised staff; instructing and evaluating apprentices; designing and reconciling work orders; preparing material lists, estimates, budget items and permits; conducting field surveys, locating service entrances, staking, and soil probe tests; maintaining and updating engineering, budget, and records; and preparing maps and sketches. Requires High School Diploma or GED, 2 years' experience as a qualified engineering technician or equivalent, and a valid driver's license. Emphasizes collaboration, initiative, and adherence to procedures and company standards.
