Job Summary
Lead Electrical Engineer for renewables focused on system studies, substation design, and underground collection. You will act as technical lead on projects, conduct high-level system studies, mentor junior engineers, review technical work, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support proposal development. Requires ABET-backed Electrical Engineering degree, P.Eng in Quebec (required) with US P.E. preferred, 7+ years in renewable energy/power systems, strong leadership and communication skills, willingness to travel up to 15%, and legal eligibility to work in Canada. Flexible to remote/hybrid work arrangements within Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited or equivalent)
- P.Eng License in Quebec REQUIRED
- U.S P.E preferred
- 7+ years of experience in renewable energy, power systems, or related industry
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Ability to travel up to 15% (US and Canada)
- Master’s in Power Systems Engineering preferred
