Job Summary
Conduct end-to-end Product Verification execution by translating internal Systems Engineering Plans into actionable manufacturing test setups and schedules for Contract Manufacturing partners. Audit CM testing teams on equipment calibration, data logging infrastructure, and installed capabilities while cross-examining results across mechanical, electrical, software, and wireless domains. Lead Joint Design/Manufacturing Review meetings to triage failures and establish automated test log pipelines for full serial number traceability. Review and formally approve CM Product Verification reports to authorize production milestones, ensuring strict quality and timeline standards are met without damaging vendor relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in an Engineering Discipline
- 6+ years in test engineering or product validation
- at least 2 years in a lead or principal role managing external vendors/CMs
- Exceptional vendor-management and negotiation skills
- demonstrated ability to hold external partners to strict quality and timeline standards
- Ability to present oneself at CM Sites
- Self-motivated, inquisitive and thrive on challenges
- Proven ability to manage projects, independently, in a cross disciplinary team environment

Desired Qualifications
- Deep understanding of New Product Introduction (NPI) life cycles
- Familiar with the application of mathematical principles and/or deployment of statistical analysis to report on Test Performance, Reliability/Warranty analysis
- Deep understanding of different types of Verification tests (ie Verification by Inspection, Demonstration, Tests and Analysis)
- Proven ability to interpret Test Methods
- appreciating efficiencies of automated test systems
- potential for environmental influences towards test performance
- An innate ability to think out of the box a plus
