Job Summary
Champion the discipline team and ignite their passion for achieving departmental goals while shaping the long-term technology roadmap for fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and sensing technologies. Take charge of assigned projects from early stages through production maturity, ensuring successful execution and timely delivery of high-quality output. Collaborate with key stakeholders to contribute insights for yearly goal setting and navigate uncertainties by proposing and implementing improvements in projects and processes. Provide final sign-off on requirements and offer coaching to junior engineers to foster their professional growth within the field.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Aerodynamics/Mechanical engineering
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical product analysis & development
- preferably in the consumer electrical appliance industry
- In-depth knowledge in the field of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics
- Knowledge and working experience on thermal measurement techniques and hardware such as thermal camera, thermocouples, picologgers, NI instrumentation etc
Desired Qualifications
- Master degree
- PhD
- In-depth knowledge and experience on the principles of heat transfer and heater system-level design
