Job Summary
Lead Engineer, Automation and Control (A&C) owns and delivers manufacturing automation solutions for the Fluid Management division at the Kaohsiung KSP-S site. Responsible for design, implementation, and ownership of robust automation and IoT systems; drives system stability, operational visibility, and overall equipment effectiveness; interfaces with SAP, SPC, and MES; emphasizes project leadership, documentation, and compliance; travel less than 10%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Automation and Control Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing automation (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in the injection molding or blow molding industry (a plus)
- Proven experience leading automation projects and working with cross-functional teams
- Strong knowledge of IoT and Industry 4.0 technologies, SCADA applications, Python programming, and SQL scripting
- Understanding of SPC tools, MOC, and NPI
- Proficient in English communication
