Job Summary
Lead Engineer, Supplier Quality responsible for developing supplier quality standards for aerospace propulsion, auditing suppliers for AS9100/Nadcap compliance, establishing quality agreements with KPIs, monitoring supplier performance, leading root cause and corrective action processes, and supporting NPI/FAI. Collaborates with procurement, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure supplier readiness and compliance with AS9100, Nadcap, and AS9102; maintains documentation of audits and CAPA plans; requires the ability to obtain security clearance and US citizenship; salary range $100k-$130k base; located at Centennial, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or materials engineering (or a related field)
- 8+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering, preferably in the aerospace or propulsion industry
- Strong understanding of aerospace propulsion systems and components
- Familiarity with quality standards such as AS9100, Nadcap, and AS9102
- Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies, including root cause analysis, FMEA, and SPC
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications, including GD&T
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issues security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance
