Job Summary
Lead simulator connectivity, hardware/software integration, and network troubleshooting for the full-scope engineering analysis environment. Configure OPC servers, manage virtual machine deployments, and resolve discrepancies between plant models and control systems. Perform onsite technical leadership for system integration, verify simulator performance against design requirements, and support factory acceptance and regression testing. Maintain alignment with ANSI/ANS-3.5-2009 standards for nuclear power plant simulators used in operator training and plant verification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Systems, Software, Computer Science or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or equivalent 4-year technical degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting nuclear simulation, plant process modeling, I&C systems, control systems, simulator hardware/software integration, or related plant engineering systems
- Relocation to Wilmington, NC
- Eligibility to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with full-scope nuclear plant simulators, real-time simulation platforms, instructor stations, HMI systems, and control room simulation environments
- Master of Science in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Systems, Software, Computer Science or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
- Knowledge of: ANSI/ANS-3.5-2009 Nuclear Power Plant simulators for use in operator training and examination
- Knowledge of: REG GUIDE 1.149 Nuclear Power Plant Simulation Facilities for use in operator training, License examination and applicant experience requirements
