Job Summary

Provide end-to-end ownership of reactor support equipment delivery for Ember Mini, Forge's subscale non-nuclear prototype, and scale this ownership to full-scale systems for the Ember nuclear power plant. Optimize development speed, cost, and system complexity by designing and executing development, acceptance, and qualification testing. Partner with production and site deployment teams to ensure high-rate manufacturing and delivery. Recruit, build, and lead a multi-disciplinary team of mechanical, civil, electrical, and controls engineers. This role reports directly to the CEO and focuses on scaling nuclear fission technology to rapidly deploy clean energy solutions.

  • Ability to travel to suppliers and reactor construction sites in other states as necessary
  • Capacity to serve in compliance with U.S. export controls

Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, autonomously driven, and demanding atmosphere
  • Self-motivated with strong multi-tasking, organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Strong sense of accountability and integrity
  • Demonstrated rapid growth; you've held successive positions of increasing responsibility within an organization, were able to get yourself up to speed at a heroic pace, and accomplished something meaningfully difficult early in your career
