Job Summary
Execute design, analysis, and evaluation of Hydro Generator projects using sound engineering principles and business standards. Prepare basic design layouts, 3D models, and drawings while conducting cross-functional internal design reviews. Review drawings and BOMs, then provide technical solutions to supply chain, manufacturing, and site installation teams. Mentor colleagues with less experience and lead projects with complex contractual requirements. Discuss technical solutions directly with clients. Requires 10-15 years of overall experience with a minimum of 5 years in Generator or Rotating electrical machine design, proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software, and strong project management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & Mechanical Component
- Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- 10-15 years of overall experience in product design
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Generator or Rotating electrical machine design
- Proficiency in Autocad and any 3D modelling software
