Job Summary
Lead Engineer at Majesco responsible for developing and maintaining ICD/ICM-based insurance solutions on cloud and on-premises platforms. Responsibilities include defining/configuring business rules and workflows, implementing and updating software features, preparing unit tests, supporting QA, performing data patches and root-cause analysis, and collaborating across teams to deliver features for the US and global insurance market. Requires strong Java/.NET-like object-oriented programming background, experience with SQL and RDBMS, familiarity with SDLC and agile practices, and excellent communication. Preferred background includes Property & Casualty insurance and Majesco platforms, with insurance-domain expertise and certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- 4+ years of Development experience
- Development experience with object-oriented programming JAVA technology stack preferred though not mandatory
- Exposure to SQL scripting and RDBMS concepts
- Experience in SDLC processes and software version control
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of agile methodology
