Lead Engineer

Lead Engineer responsible for overseeing the engineering team on the 10:00pm–6:30am shift at John F. Kennedy International Airport, ensuring tasks related to repairs, maintenance, and life safety systems are completed accurately and on time. Supervise shift members, prioritize and assign Maximo work orders, manage time/productivity, and perform skilled maintenance across electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building systems. Conduct maintenance of life safety equipment, terminal furnishings, lighting, thermostats, doors/windows, and related components; read and interpret electrical schematics and service manuals; troubleshoot and reset systems including the Muratec and BMS. Coordinate workflow, utilize mobile devices to log tasks and progress, and prepare reports. Must have a valid US driver’s license and strong verbal/written communication; able to adapt to changing priorities; Local 30 union enrollment after probation. Location is Queens, NY; compensation is $34.16/hour. This is a Local 30 union operation with enrollment upon probation. Shift is overnight with off days TBD.
