Job Summary
Lead Engineer for Integrated Plant Design responsible for conducting and guiding plant integration activities from concept to production, ensuring optimal system and product delivery by coordinating with Project, Product, Engineering, Sales, Licensing, and other stakeholders; leverages cross-functional teamwork, strong writing and verbal communication, and deep engineering expertise (nuclear power, BWRX-300 knowledge) to drive design requirements, trade studies, and interface management while aligning with quality standards (NQA-1, ISO 9000) and regulatory constraints; expects ability to lead small projects with low risk, mentor less experienced colleagues, and thrive in a matrix environment with tight deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering capacity, preferably in nuclear power
- Eligibility for access to U.S. export-controlled information (requires U.S. Government authorization)
- Master or doctoral degree may be considered a plus
