Lead Engineer Hydraulics

Job Summary
Lead the end-to-end design and development of hydraulic systems, including component design and system validation. Guide a team of engineers, conduct design reviews, and mentor junior engineers. Define test plans for hydraulic systems and support lab testing, while collaborating cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams. Ensure compliance with industry standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree, 8–12 years of experience in hydraulic systems, strong knowledge of fluid power principles, and proficiency in CAD.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 8–12 years of experience in hydraulic systems design and development
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic components, circuits, and fluid power principles
- Proficiency in CAD tools (Creo, SolidWorks, Catia)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with system controls involving electro-hydraulics
