Job Summary
Coordinate Engineering activities and review request forms to delegate tasks in the absence of the Engineering Manager. Execute timely repairs and maintenance for HVAC, chillers, boilers, pumps, and related piping systems. Manage meters, gauges, and testing equipment to detect problems and document all repairs and PM reports accurately. Monitor the building management system and oversee outside vendors for professional central plant repairs. Perform technical projects including electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, metal fabrication welding, plumbing, kitchen equipment, masonry, and carpentry repairs. Provide excellent service to guests and internal clients while adhering to Tribal Ordinance Regulations and internal control systems.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years proven experience as a maintenance technician
- Must be knowledgeable in current OSHA regulations and safe work environment practices
- Advance demonstrable skills in one or more trades; electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, mechanical systems
- Proven experience with general maintenance processes and methods
- Proven experience and knowledge using tools, standard appliances, and devices
- Must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 1⁄2 mile
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment
- Must be able to work in a 'lighting subdued' environment for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions to include extreme heat and cold weather
- Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis
- Must have sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone
