Job Summary
Troubleshoot out-of-warranty GIS products across 72.5KV to 765KV ranges and perform annual maintenance and servicing of GIS bays for central utilities, state boards, and private customers. Conduct major overhauling of legacy products, map installed bases, and provide recommendations for overhauling, factory repair, or retrofit solutions. Execute field service jobs per mission plans, report through Service Max, and maintain service reports, time sheets, and expense records. Follow up on payments, detect spare business enquiries during site visits, and deliver customer feedback with improvement suggestions while managing maintenance, erection, and testing tools. Requires 10+ years of experience on GE make GIS products with willingness to travel for customer shutdowns.
Required Qualifications
- BE or Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience on GE make GIS Products
- Willingness to travel and frequent site visits as per customers shutdown requirements
