Job Summary
Lead Engineer to support the launch of Digital Realty's first data center project in Italy, based in Roma. Oversees day-to-day operations of the on-site Technical Operations Team and vendors, ensures safety compliance and SLA/KPIs via CMMS, coordinates incident management, and supervises contractors and inductions. Requires formal electrical training and experience in mission-critical environments; fluent in Italian and English; responsible for coordinating with client representatives and driving safe, efficient building services infrastructure operations.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in mission-critical mechanical & electrical environments
- Experience in data centers or similar environments
- Knowledge of DC infrastructure components (UPS, Generators, Cooling)
- Recognized formal electrical training (City and Guilds, etc.)
- Experience and knowledge of operation of critical building infrastructure (Electrical, Mechanical, Building Fabric)
