Lead Engineer, Custody Engineering (Tokenization)

Job Summary
Lead Engineer owns the tokenization-focused architecture and roadmap for custody systems, driving the evolution of secure, scalable infrastructure and auditing smart contracts that hold customer assets. You will mentor the team, serve as technical owner for the full tokenization lifecycle (issuance, controlled transfer, settlement, on-chain verification), define auditable security controls, and translate cryptographic requirements for engineering, product, and compliance teams across a global organization.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience architecting and scaling production-grade systems
- Expert-level fluency in secure public chain smart contract development (Solidity, EVM) with OpenZeppelin
- Deep knowledge of token standards (ERC-20, ERC-3643, Token-2022) and custody architectures
- Strong experience with off-chain services (TypeScript), APIs, and event indexers
- Hands-on experience with Web3 tooling (Foundry, Hardhat) and libraries (Viem, Ethers.js)
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives and mentor engineering teams
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience)
