Job Summary
Lead Engineer responsible for guiding the engineering team behind an enterprise content-management portfolio, driving cloud modernization strategy, and delivering secure, high-availability applications. Hands-on developer with Java, Spring Boot, and related tech, leading architecture design, modernization roadmaps, and DevOps practices while mentoring engineers, coordinating with business units, vendors, and enterprise architecture. Focus areas include application architecture, modernization of IBM FileNet P8/DataCap/CMOD configurations, detailed documentation, resilience planning, CI/CD optimization, security/compliance governance, Agile participation, and cross-team collaboration. Ideal candidate possesses deep backend expertise, enterprise infrastructure experience (IBM WebSphere), and strong communication to translate complex architectures for business units and external vendors.
