Job Summary
Lead Engineer - Control & Protection responsible for leading technical analysis and strategy during tendering and project execution, delivering principal design and detailed design to meet project requirements and international standards, ensuring EHS/regulatory compliance, on-time delivery within budget and quality targets, coordinating with third parties/subcontractors, supporting procurement and site teams with reference documents and design reviews, and mentoring junior engineers to build team capability. The role involves managing design processes, maintaining traceable documentation, and driving cost/time-efficient design solutions for control and protection systems in AC substation design, with willingness to travel worldwide.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree of Electrical Engineering
- More than 10 years’ experience in AC Substation Design
- Willingness to work in different locations for short or medium period and to travel world-wide when required
- Knowledge of electrical engineering of transmission & distribution and Industrial network system
- Basic knowledge of Transmission & Distribution project execution process, from tendering, engineering phase, procurement, site execution, pre-commissioning and commissioning stage
