Job Summary
Design scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS and Azure to support Generative AI applications, collaborating with data scientists to deploy and optimize AI models. Utilize Terraform for Infrastructure as Code automation and ensure the security, reliability, and performance of cloud-based AI systems. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members while troubleshooting and resolving issues related to cloud infrastructure and model deployment. Document best practices, processes, and procedures to maintain smooth operations. Remain current with advancements in AWS, Azure, and Generative AI to continuously improve systems. This role reports to the Senior Manager – IT Infrastructure and requires strong problem-solving skills within a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing large scale complex network solutions
- Three or more years of AI experience
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer with a strong understanding of AWS and Azure cloud platforms
- Proficiency in machine learning (ML) and AI models
- Experience in Generative AI, including experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or .NET
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated expertise in vector databases and their application within the GenAI framework
Desired Qualifications
- Desirable knowledge of AI Agents through orchestrators
- Desirable knowledge of frameworks such as Langchain, Semantic Kernel, Spring AI
- Five years of AI experience
- Certifications in AWS and Azure technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
