Job Summary
Lead Engineer responsible for expanding Apex’s Transportation services in Minnesota by leading and mentoring a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff on City, County, and MnDOT projects from planning through design and construction. Independently manage projects, contribute to development of project plans and specifications, and participate in business development activities including proposal preparation and interviews. Role requires strong project management, client communication, and collaboration with senior staff, with occasional travel and long hours typical of transportation projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineers License preferred or ability to be licensed within 6-12 months in MN
- 5-15 years of experience in Civil Engineering focused on transportation projects
