Lead Embedded Software Engineer

Job Summary
Lead Embedded Software Engineer responsible for leading a software development team on an embedded DoD program, planning development tasks, and coordinating requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing across the SDLC. Will work as a lead team member on a Scrum team, apply advanced C++ skills, and collaborate with hardware and software engineers to ensure proper interfaces, verification, and hardware-software integration. Must have DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, and relocation support; relocate to Camden, NJ. Proficiency with RTOSs (e.g., Green Hills Integrity, VxWorks), UML modeling tools (IBM Rhapsody, MagicDraw/Cameo), development of device drivers and BSPs, and experience in EVMS and security-related certifications are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship with an Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 10+ years of experience debugging applications on simulated and target hardware
- Usage of a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS), such as Green Hills Integrity, VxWorks, or similar
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
