Job Summary
Lead Electrician responsible for overseeing and performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of electrical distribution systems up to medium voltage in commercial, industrial, office, laboratory, and mission-critical facilities. Provides technical leadership to electricians and maintenance personnel, ensures NEC and OSHA compliance, maintains accurate CMMS records, and participates in outage planning, system commissioning, and startup activities. Requires strong knowledge of electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation, leadership/mentoring of apprentices and subcontractors, and ability to coordinate with engineering and operations to resolve electrical issues in a highly regulated environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7–10 years of commercial, industrial, government, nuclear, or facility maintenance electrical experience
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
- Valid driver's license
- US Citizenship required
