Job Summary
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical equipment and fixtures for fueling and charging stations in the petroleum industry using hand and power tools. Troubleshoot malfunctioning systems using ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners, and cable testers to diagnose failures and ensure component safety. Install conduits, pull wire, and make final connections to circuit breakers, pumps, dispensers, Point of Sale consoles, and tank monitors while verifying compliance with safety codes and manufacturer specifications. Advise management and customers on hazards and system safety, assist with material take-offs, and work under time constraints in all weather conditions. Requires at least one year of Journeyman Electrician experience and knowledge of electrician standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of Journeyman Electrician experience
- Knowledge of Electrician standards & codes
- Detail oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift 75 –100 lbs when necessary during the course of performing their necessary duties
- Work outside during all types of weather
- Work under time constraints efficiently and have the ability to work well with others
- Follow all company procedures
- Keep company vehicle clean, maintenance done regular, and only use for company business
- Ability to read blueprints, electrical systems that show the location of circuits, outlets, and other equipment
- Experience with different types of hand and power tools, such as conduit benders
- Use of ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners, and cable testers
- Use of ohm meter, volt meter, amp probe and megger
