Job Summary
The Lead Electrical Test Technician will lead a team in conducting electrical testing of products, address technical issues, draft detailed reports, and ensure compliance with safety procedures. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience, excellent communication skills, and knowledge in power distribution and testing.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience in power distribution electrical testing or related field
- Relevant experience leading a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s degree in electrical engineering or related field required
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and single line diagrams
- Knowledge in testing protection relays and switchgear
- Good working knowledge of standard electrical testing and measuring equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with protection relay software such as Schweitzer, AcSELerator and GE Enervista UR
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare test reports and proposals
