Job Summary
Manage and perform installation and upgrades of electrical systems in residential settings while ensuring compliance with local codes and safety standards. Provide clear explanations of issues and solutions to clients, collect payments, and complete detailed service reports. Daily tasks include technical troubleshooting, maintaining truck inventory levels, and running parts to employees. This role combines hands-on electrical work with team leadership and direct customer interaction for EJ Home Services, a residential service company specializing in plumbing, electric, heating, and air conditioning.
Required Qualifications
- Pre-employment background check
- Pre-employment drug screen
- Valid drivers license
- Have and maintain a clean driving record
- 3 years experience in residential electrical company
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and local building codes
- Ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair wiring, panels, breakers, outlets, lighting, and other residential electrical systems
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with service upgrades, generator installs, smart home wiring, and low-voltage systems is a plus
