Job Summary
Design and draft single-line and three-line diagrams for AC/DC, LV/MV systems. Perform short circuit, arc flash, protection, insulation, load flow, grounding, and ampacity studies. Prepare equipment specifications and inspection point plans while maintaining firm standards. Coordinate with civil and structural engineers to support construction by responding to contractor and owner requests, including RFIs and submittal reviews. Requires PE certification, 3+ years of experience, and proficiency with NEC 2020/2017, ETAP, and AutoCAD. Based in Phoenix, AZ, with compensation up to $150,000.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- PE (Electrical) certification
- Working knowledge of NEC 2020 & 2017
- AC and DC electrical knowledge
- Solar projects experience

- Substation and overhead line design knowledge
- Strong project management, reporting, and technical skills as well as attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Spanish language skills
- ETAP proficiency
- AutoCAD proficiency
