Job Summary
Lead PCB design engineer responsible for creating, modifying, reviewing, and validating HDI PCB layouts for rigid, flexible, and rigid-flex boards using Mentor PADS/Expedition. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address fabrication, assembly, and test issues; develop PCB stack-ups and impedance models; perform complex layouts across RF, digital, analog, and power domains; lead peer reviews, establish design guidelines, and mentor junior designers. Lead the assessment and upgrade of PCB design software and create templates, checklists, and procedures. Requires 9+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree (or 7+ with a graduate degree; 13+ years in lieu of a degree). Must be eligible for or hold a security clearance; position located in San Diego, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with 9+ years of related experience; Graduate Degree with 7+ years; Alternatively, 13+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.

- US citizenship required for security clearance consideration; ability to obtain security clearance may be required.
