Job Summary
Lead Electrical Engineer responsible for overseeing electrical distribution, lighting, and power systems design, preparing deliverables (narratives, calculations, drawings, specifications), applying engineering judgment through project concepts to construction, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, performing load calculations, site visits, and cost estimates, and guiding project teams to meet budget and schedule while ensuring NEC and industry standards compliance. Proficient in Easy Power for load flow/short circuit/arc flash analyses; strong communication skills to present design options to stakeholders; familiarity with master specifications and building codes; hands-on use of Revit/AutoCAD and Office tools; ability to mentor, lead, and coordinate across disciplines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Relevant Professional Credential (i.e., PE) preferred
- Minimum 2-4 years of Electrical E-2 or 3-5 years related experience
- Advanced understanding of electrical engineering concepts
- Knowledge of NEC and building/energy codes
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Revit/AutoCAD
- Easy Power
