Lead Electrical Engineer (Mission Critical/Data Centers)

Job Summary
Design complex power and building systems including generator plants, medium voltage distribution, and uninterruptible power systems for data center and mission critical projects. Lead a team of electrical engineers while developing initial system concepts, work plans, and drawing specifications for issuance to architects and contractors. Conduct survey and evaluation of existing conditions, perform construction administration, and manage client relationships alongside proposal writing and budget establishment. Coordinate with multi-discipline teams, vendors, and manufacturers to produce high-quality technical deliverables. This hybrid role out of Atlanta GA requires a Registered Professional Engineer with 7+ years of experience mentoring others and applying advanced analytical techniques to solve technical problems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with electrical building systems emphasis
- 7+ years of experience in designing electrical systems for the high performing commercial or industrial
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
- Experience mentoring and training others in field
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems and codes
- Attention to detail, highly organized, self-starter
Desired Qualifications
- Enhancing credentials (LEED, Uptime ATD, etc.) preferred
- Experience with the analysis and modeling of short circuit coordination and arc flash studies
- Mission Critical/Data Center experience
- Experience with international projects and knowledge of international codes and standards
