Job Summary
Lead system-level hardware development for iCafe headset products, including component selection, BOM cost optimization, schematic design, and high-density multi-layer PCB layout guidance. Optimize antenna design, RF impedance matching, and wireless transmission power for harsh environments with dense devices and severe interference. Manage power charging and discharge management, signal integrity analysis, ESD protection, and system integration troubleshooting tests. Validate designs through EVT test planning and execution, EMC debugging, and mass production support with failure analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Chinese partners to develop and commercialize new technologies while synthesizing capabilities and proposing solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
- EE design experience: 10 years or above
- Experience in hardware system development for complex wireless gaming peripherals (wireless headsets, wireless keyboard/mouse)
- Experience in both RF and audio R&D from top-tier contract manufacturers or first-tier brands
- Proficient in using mainstream hardware design software (e.g., PADS/Cadence)
- Expert in RF anti-interference debugging
- Expert in hardware peripheral layout for mainstream wireless audio SoCs
- Expert in hardware integration validation of Bluetooth/2.4G wireless modules
- Possesses rigorous system architecture thinking
- Efficient troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to make technical decisions that balance cost and ultimate gaming performance within tight commercial launch schedules
- Curious and explore new technology
- Capability to synthesize and propose
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
