Lead Electrical Engineer

Lead Electrical Engineer for Hydropower & Renewable projects in the Sacramento/Rancho Cordova area. Responsibilities include leading electrical engineering efforts for hydropower, hydraulic structures, and renewable projects; coordinating with multidisciplinary teams; developing electrical drawings (single line diagrams, schematics, interconnection diagrams, equipment layouts); creating electrical equipment specifications and BOMs for procurement and construction; attending on-site meetings, investigating existing conditions, and providing construction support. Extensive use of ProjectWise and electrical engineering software (ETAP, SKM, Easy Power) and AutoCAD to view and produce drawings. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 11 years of related experience; licensure or active pursuit of licensure is typically required. Preferred qualifications include experience designing for multiple industrial or electric utility clients, hydraulic structures/hydropower experience, ability to manage multiple projects, strong communication skills, and knowledge of applicable design standards.
