Job Summary
Lead Electrical Engineer responsible for design, development, integration, and testing of electrical subsystems for advanced aerospace hardware; duties include schematic capture, PCB layout, component selection, firmware development for control/monitoring/data acquisition, hardware bring-up, fault diagnosis across hardware and software, system validation, cross-disciplinary collaboration, documentation, and field testing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
- 2+ years of professional, research, or hands-on engineering experience
- Experience designing circuits and developing PCB-based hardware
- Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and hardware debugging
- Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and other common laboratory equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on engineering environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable collaborating across multidisciplinary engineering teams
