Job Summary
Lead Education Interpreter responsible for facilitating tours and on-ground interpretation. Primary facilitator for interpretive programs, with duties including animal demonstrations and operation of various equipment. Supports all interpretive programming and collaborates with the Interpretive Program Coordinator. Role involves engaging guests and enhancing visitor experiences through education and outreach within a part-time schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years of age or older
- College experience up to sophomore year preferred and experience leading classrooms or teaching in informal education settings
- Background and experience in animal sciences, education, environmental or natural sciences is also a plus
- Pre-employment screening and background check are required
