Job Summary
Lead, mentor, and support echocardiography technicians to deliver high-quality pediatric imaging; coordinate daily scheduling of echocardiograms to optimize workflow and coverage; perform pediatric echocardiograms and transmit for pediatric cardiology review; integrate patient history, chart data, and labs to adapt exams; evaluate and communicate preliminary findings to pediatric cardiology staff; perform measurements per ICAEL, conduct delegated laboratory duties, and maintain ICAEL-related documentation; educate patients and staff, participate in meetings, QA activities, and institutional goals; adhere to HIPAA, billing compliance, and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent plus Diagnostic Medical Sonography certification from an accredited CAAHEP program; ARDMS Certification required; 5 years minimum experience as an echocardiography technician; Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred; Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred
