Lead ECAD LIB Engineer

Job Summary
Lead ECAD LIB Engineer at Jabil. Responsibilities include generating CAD models and drawings; acting as a lead designer across MCAD and ECAD disciplines; supporting initial quoting, improving procedures and templates, and ensuring designs meet customer criteria while remaining high quality, cost effective, and manufacturable. Will enter complete design package data into the PDM system for ECO release, work with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality), and assist in verifying and improving CAD-related work and supporting production through design revisions. Requires staying current with technology and techniques to maintain competitive, manufacturable designs; mentoring CAD Designers and Librarians as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience and/or training
- Knowledge/experience with CAD tools (ECAD/MCAD)
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with multiple teams
- Experience with PDM and ECO release processes
