Job Summary
Lead the daily operation of the 2-Year-Old classroom using The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum by planning engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that support language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional growth. Foster independence through consistent routines, positive guidance, and hands-on exploration while creating a safe, organized, and welcoming environment. Mentor Assistant Teachers to promote teamwork and consistency, and build strong relationships with families through daily communication and developmental updates. Observe and document children's progress while maintaining compliance with all New Jersey childcare licensing regulations and health and safety standards. Full-time Monday–Friday schedule with competitive pay of $20–$23 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, CDA, or High School Diploma with at least five years of relevant early childhood experience
- Must meet all applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience leading a toddler or two-year-old classroom preferred
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Excellent classroom management, leadership, and communication skills
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
