Job Summary
Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living skills including medication administration, meal prep, cooking, dressing, hygiene, and home maintenance. Encourage community participation by supporting attendance at events, clubs, shows, and visits to local establishments. Ensure each person's Personal Plan is implemented while respecting their choices and life decisions. Lead Direct Support Professionals earn $20.80 per hour after training completion and work Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. This role is part of a culture where individuals are recognized for the value they bring to their communities through high-quality, person-centered programs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Accredited high school diploma or GED
- Successful completion of criminal, DCFS, and MVR background checks
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Certified DSP with at least one year of experience
