Job Summary
Lead Distribution Center Specialist coordinating distribution center activities in an SCD division, adhering to safety guidelines, and using data tools to drive operational decisions. Serves as primary liaison between the team and supervisor, partners with management to improve team performance, trains staff on RF Scanner and computer systems, supports inventory accuracy, and coordinates department-level activities with DC leadership in a climate-controlled, first-shift warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of related industrial experience and/or training
- High school diploma or equivalency (GED, HSED)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Effective leadership skills
- Proficient written, oral communication
- Basic organizational skills
- Ability to work within complex system and process
- Experience in MS Office programs and Warehouse software (Latitude, P21, RF Scanner etc.)
- Agile in identifying and making recommendations to resolve problems
- Models and promotes self-directed work team culture
- Proven ability to solve problems with standardized solution
